What it is per treatment
The short format of cavitation is work on a single zone: abdomen, waist, thighs or arms. There is one method — low-frequency ultrasound, which passes through contact gel into the subcutaneous layer and acts on the fat cells; there is no vacuum and no radio frequency in this format. The main question people ask about cavitation is where what leaves the cells actually goes. The honest answer is that it does not disappear by itself — the released contents pass into the intercellular space, from there into the lymph and the bloodstream, and are then processed by the body like ordinary fats, that is, they leave with the metabolism. This is why water, movement and diet between visits affect the result no less than the session itself.
The limits of the method follow from this: cavitation works on local deposits in a particular zone and is not a method of weight loss — if weight is gained, the treated zone changes along with the rest of the body. Nor does it tighten the skin: that is the task of radio frequency, and if density is also needed the specialist will suggest a combined programme. The session is painless, there is no recovery period and you can return to your day at once; sometimes light redness and a feeling of warmth remain in the zone afterwards.
