What are cookies?

The text file contains information that is used to identify the user of a particular website and to improve the interaction with the user on that website by remembering the choice made by the user. The storage period of a cookie on the user’s device depends on the validity period of the particular cookie and the settings of the particular browser. The user can disable or restrict the use of cookies, but without cookies it will be impossible to use all the functions of the website in full.

Types and purposes of cookies

Cookies carry technical blocks of information that are used to protect the user from malicious interference by third parties: they prevent cross-site request forgery and the use of the website by a robot, and provide other analytical probabilistic data that make it possible to distinguish a real user and to protect the user and the website from malicious robotic overloading of the website. Cookies are used to improve the functionality and use of the Website. The following are used: — Necessary cookies — used for authentication, ensuring the identification of the user without revealing their identity. These cookies are stored on the user’s device until the browser is closed. — Functional cookies — with the help of functional cookies the website remembers the settings chosen by the user and the choices made, so that the user can use the website more conveniently. These cookies are stored on the user’s device permanently. — Analytical cookies — collect information about how and how often the Website is used and visited, and which search tools are used. Cookie statistics may also be obtained from third-party websites (data processors such as Google Analytics). If this is done with all types of cookies, the user will probably not be able to use all the functionality of the site in full, and the site may be displayed with visual defects. The list below was compiled after the tags of the website were measured in a live browser on 2026-09-10 and describes what the website actually stores on your device. A. Necessary for the website to work — set without asking for consent: – alv-tenant (domain of the website, 365 days) — the country whose centres, prices and phone numbers are shown to you; – alv-city (domain of the website, 365 days) — the city you chose; – NEXT_LOCALE (domain of the website, 365 days) — the language you chose; – alv-consent (domain of the website, 180 days) — your answer in the consent banner. B. Traffic measurement and advertising — only after pressing “Accept” in the consent banner. The website then loads the Google Tag Manager container GTM-PB4RT5F and, through it, Google Analytics 4, Google Ads AW-16459659011 and the Meta (Facebook) pixel 340920608536112. On the website’s domain they set: – _ga (400 days) and _ga_9Z1XVSCHQM (400 days) — Google Analytics; – _gcl_au (90 days) — Google Ads; – _gcl_aw (90 days) — Google Ads, ad click identifier; – _fbp (90 days) — Meta pixel; – _fbc (90 days) — Meta pixel, ad click identifier; – _clck (365 days) and _clsk (1 day) — Microsoft Clarity, session recordings and heatmaps (domain clarity.ms; form input is masked). The same services write _gcl_ls, lastExternalReferrer and lastExternalReferrerTime to the local storage of the browser; Google advertising services may set cookies on their own domains (for example, test_cookie on doubleclick.net). Until consent is given, none of the above is loaded or set. After consent, the website itself keeps the alv-vm entry in the browser tab storage (sessionStorage) until the tab is closed: where you came to the website from (advertising tag, domain of the previous website, landing page), so that a booking or request can be linked to the advertisement; if you refuse, the entry is deleted. Also after consent, the website keeps the alv-at entry in the browser local storage (localStorage) — the last advertising touch: source, medium and campaign of the advertising tag, advertising click identifier, domain of the previous website, landing page and date — for no longer than 30 days from that date, so that a booking or request made later, during another visit, can be linked to that advertisement; if you refuse, the entry is deleted. After consent, when you book or send a request, the website server also sends Meta (Conversions API) data to measure the results of advertising; what is sent and why is described in the privacy policy, in the section on data recipients. C. Withdrawing consent. The “Cookie settings” link reopens the consent banner; after a refusal the website deletes the files and local-storage entries listed in B and stops loading those services. Cookies on third-party domains (for example, doubleclick.net) cannot be deleted by the website — delete them in the settings of your browser. D. The embedded Google map on pages showing the location of a centre is loaded by Google and, like any external service, may set its own cookies.
