The technology
How it works: scalp mesotherapy
A device with a sterile single-use cartridge: ultra-fine needles at a set depth pass over the scalp in frequent punctures, and through the open microchannels the cocktail reaches the hair roots.

Through the microchannels the active ingredients reach not the surface but the layer where the hair roots sit — topical products do not work that way.

It feels like tingling and light pressure. The specialist sets the needle depth and density by area and sensitivity; the scalp may stay sensitive and slightly red until the end of the day.
That is decided at the examination, not in advance: thinning and shedding have different causes, and some of them call for a doctor rather than a cosmetologist. The treatment works on the scalp and roots, so it is not judged by a single visit.
