About the treatment

What it is per treatment

Legs in full — in one visit the specialist works through the thighs, knees, lower legs, feet and toes. In men the leg hair is denser and coarser than in women, and it is spread just as unevenly: below the knee it is usually darker and thicker, on the thighs finer and lighter — so the power is chosen section by section rather than with one setting for the whole leg. Where the skin lies directly over bone — the knee, the front of the shin, the foot — the handpiece is moved more slowly. The knee is treated separately, with the leg bent, otherwise the skin gathers into folds. The laser takes hair in the active growth phase, so the area is done as a course at 4–8 week intervals.

Men come for their legs with two different goals, and it is important to separate them at the consultation: some want smoothness — that is what cyclists and swimmers come for — while for others it is enough that the hair becomes sparser and softer. The second is settled by the number of visits, and you can stop earlier; full removal takes 6–10 sessions on average. Preparation: shave the legs the day before or on the day of the visit, no waxing, sugaring or tweezers for 2–4 weeks before the session. For a day after the session — no steam room, hot bath or tight compression clothing. And 2–4 weeks without strong sun or a tanning bed: the lower legs tan before the rest of the leg.

How the visit goes

How it goes the treatment

  • 01Skin preparation2–4 weeks without sun or sunbed, 2–4 weeks without wax, sugaring or tweezers; the day before or on the day, shave the area with an ordinary razor.
  • 02Phototype and settingsThe specialist determines your skin phototype and sets the device accordingly; a cooling gel is applied to the skin.
  • 03SessionThe handpiece passes over the area in flashes; built-in cooling keeps it comfortable. A visible effect comes after the first session: growth slows and hairs begin to shed.
  • 04AfterwardsTwo weeks without sun or sunbed; do not pull hairs from the root — shaving only. The next visit is scheduled at an interval the specialist chooses.

Frequently asked questions

Beard, back, ingrown hairs — what men ask about.

Book online — the specialist will examine the area, check for contraindications and create your treatment plan at our Vilnius salon.

Yes. We remove only what you mark — usually the neck and the line below the outline; the beard outline itself stays. We agree the borders at the examination, before the first flash.

That is what people most often come for: the less hair there is, the fewer reasons for ingrown hairs and irritation. Only a course removes the problem completely, not a single session.

Large areas are done as a course at 4–8 week intervals, on average 6–10 sessions. The laser sees dense dark hair well, so men's areas often respond confidently.

The price depends on the size of the area and the length of the session: where the hair is denser and there is more work, the price is higher. Small areas cost the same as in the general price list.

We do not work with the laser over tattoos or moles — we go around those spots or cover them. Fresh scars and skin damage need time to heal; the specialist will look at the area at the examination.

Less well: the laser follows pigment, and there is almost none in grey and very light hair. We will say so plainly before the course starts, not after payment.

The treatment takes place one to one with the specialist, and everything outside the working area is covered. For our staff this is ordinary work to protocol — including delicate areas.
