This is the ALVALINE skin scanner — a short analysis of a front-facing photo right in the browser. It does not make diagnoses and does not replace an examination: its job is to show in two minutes what is happening with your skin now, which areas of the face need attention first, and which treatments from the price list of the salon in Vilnius are suitable — with prices and booking. You can take the result with you into your request, so you do not have to explain everything to the salon administrator again.

What exactly happens to the photo
No magic: straightforward photometry in the browser plus the price list of your salon.
We measure, we do not guess
From the skin mask we calculate the spread of brightness (tone evenness), the shift toward red (calmness), micro-contrast (texture) and the share of highlights (mattness).

Only if you tick the “AI summary” box yourself. Without it the photo never leaves the tab: it is drawn onto a canvas, the readings are calculated from it, and that is all. With the box ticked, a downscaled copy of the photo travels through our server to Anthropic (USA), where a short sentence about the condition of your skin is composed from it. The photo is written neither to the database nor to the files of the site.
Exactly the same, minus one sentence. The readings, the zone priorities, the plan from your salon price list and the booking are all computed by your browser — they do not depend on the AI and will not change. You can untick the box at any time: with the next photo nothing will be sent anywhere. To withdraw consent already given, or to ask what is stored about you, write to info@alvaline.lt.
No. This is guidance from a photograph: we measure tone evenness, redness and micro-texture. A diagnosis is made by a doctor, and the specialist confirms the protocol at the examination — including a contraindication check.
Hydration and firmness cannot honestly be determined from a photo — they are not visible in the frame. We do not invent these numbers: they come from your answers and are labelled as such in the report.
Accuracy depends on the photo: daylight and the absence of make-up and direct flash give a stable result. If the photo is too dark or overexposed, the page will warn you.
Your measurements and answers go to the salon administrator together with your request — at the visit you will not have to explain everything again. The specialist will check them against the examination and adjust the plan if needed.
