What it is per treatment
RF lifting works without light and without needles: the device passes a high-frequency alternating current through the tissue, the tissue resists it and is thereby heated from within. Controlled heating is the mechanism of the treatment — the skin responds to it by firming. From this comes an important difference from laser methods: radio frequency is not aimed at pigment, so skin phototype does not limit it the way it limits work with light. The session: cleansing, application of a conductive gel, then the specialist moves the electrode over the zone in repeated passes, gradually building up the temperature. The sensation is steadily rising warmth, sometimes to distinctly hot; the specialist asks about this and holds the temperature at the working limit without crossing it.
Immediately after the session, pinkness and a feeling of warmth in the zone are possible — they pass within a few hours, there is no recovery period and you can return to your day at once. The main result does not arrive on the day of the visit: firmness builds up gradually while the tissue responds to the heating, and continues to increase after the course has ended.
